Job summary

BD Parata is seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide in-depth technical and customer support for pharmacy automation products in the Los Angeles area. The role involves regional travel to support pharmacies across various environments, ensuring uptime and high-quality service.

You will train customers, respond to service requests, and collaborate with global service teams to resolve complex issues. A strong focus on customer service and hands-on electrical/mechanical skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred; 3–5 years field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service and technical problem resolution at client sites.
• Maintain equipment and maximize uptime by proactive issue resolution.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of pharmacy automation systems.
• Respond to service requests within SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with service teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Assist with new automation installations as needed.
• Document issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
• Provide product feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
