Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead jobsite operations on projects across the United States. You will oversee safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and daily documentation while supporting field engineers and trades teams.

The role requires a 3+ year background in construction management or related field, OSHA 30, and strong communication. Expect travel to multiple sites and the ability to manage look-ahead schedules and daily logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is required (or equivalent).
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with subcontractors and project team.
• Familiarity with pull planning, MS Project, and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities and logistics, including site operations oversight.
• Communicate with contractors and project team about ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Ensure subcontractors fully execute contracted scopes with safety and environmental standards.
• Manage quality-control for materials and completed work.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Maintain a daily log of site activities and conditions per GBA standards.
• Create and distribute weekly look-ahead schedules (3+ weeks).
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings.
