Job summary

GBA Builders seeks a Field Superintendent to support project execution by managing scopes of work and coordinating subcontractors on sites typically under $5 million. You will ensure safety, quality, and documentation, and may serve as Project Superintendent on smaller projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 3+ years of experience, and OSHA 30-hour certification. Travel across the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills with trade partners and project team; ability to coordinate across site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities and logistics, overseeing jobsite operations.
• Communicate with contractors and project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Ensure subcontractors execute contracted scopes and meet safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Manage quality-control efforts for materials and completed work.
• Coordinate and track inspections with local jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Identify and resolve schedule, design, quality, and safety conflicts.
• Maintain a daily written log of jobsite activities per company standards.
• Maintain a photo record of progress and site conditions.
• Create and distribute weekly look-ahead schedules (≥3 weeks).
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings.
• Travel to job sites; operate company vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
