Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Field Operations team. You’ll assist the Superintendent and project team, coordinate daily construction activities, promote jobsite safety, maintain project documentation, and support project execution nationwide across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce the Health and Safety Program on the jobsite.
• Assist with job hazard analyses, safety reviews, and training initiatives.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance and interpretation of drawings and specs.
• Support field surveying and layout activities and document labor hours.
