Job summary

GBA Builders is hiring a Field Engineer to support our Field Operations team. You will coordinate daily construction activities, promote jobsite safety, and maintain project documentation across the United States.

You will work with the Superintendent and project team, gaining hands-on field experience while developing construction management and leadership skills. Requires 1–4 years of related experience and OSHA 30-hour certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce GBA’s Health and Safety Program.
• Assist with job hazard analyses, safety reviews, and training.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries according to project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance and interpretation of drawings and specs.
• Verify quantity calculations and assist with field surveying.
• Maintain accurate labor timesheets and project records.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support leadership as needed.
• Travel to job sites to support field operations.
• Operate a company vehicle as required.
