Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to support our Field Operations team across the United States. You will coordinate daily construction activities, promote site safety, and help manage project documentation while collaborating with the Superintendent and project team.

Ideal candidates have a 1–4 year background in construction management or engineering, OSHA 30-hour certification, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong organizational, time-management, and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations by coordinating daily construction activities.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety programs and JHAs.
• Assist with supervision of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare work plans and work packages for field execution.
• Support quality assurance and interpretation of drawings and specs.
• Assist with field surveying, quantity calculations, and labor timesheets.
