Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Superintendent to support project execution across multiple sites in the United States. You will manage specific areas, trades, and scopes, uphold safety standards, coordinate subcontractors, and document progress and schedule impacts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, 3+ years of experience, OSHA 30-hour, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with trade partners and site leadership.
• Familiarity with pull planning and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
• Proficiency reading construction documents and using MS Office/Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities and site logistics.
• Communicate with contractors on RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Ensure subcontractors meet safety, quality, and scope commitments.
• Oversee quality-control of materials and work.
• Maintain daily jobsite logs and photo records.
• Create and distribute weekly look-ahead schedules (3 weeks+).
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings.
• Travel to and from job sites; operate a company vehicle as needed.
