Job summary

GBA Builders seeks a Field Superintendent to support project execution by managing specific areas, trades, or scopes of work; or serve as Project Superintendent on smaller projects typically under $5 million. You will lead daily site operations, safety, quality, and documentation, coordinate look-ahead schedules, and conduct daily huddles.

This role requires travel to job sites across the United States. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field with 3+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with pull planning, Microsoft Project, and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities and logistics, including jobsite operations oversight.
• Communicate with contractors and project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and other documentation.
• Ensure subcontractors meet contracted scopes, safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Manage quality-control efforts for materials and completed work.
• Coordinate inspections with jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Maintain daily jobsite logs and photo records of progress.
