Job summary

Conservice LLC is seeking a Meter Technician for a full-time, hands-on field role servicing water, gas, and electric submeters across multifamily properties and select retail locations. Expect 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

with travel up to 25%, some overnights, and overtime as needed. You will install, service, and troubleshoot submeters, maintain records, and follow safety policies. The role requires a valid drivers license, OSHA-10 (or equivalent within 90 days), and a background check.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with no more than two moving violation convictions in the past 24 months.
• REAL ID-compliant license or ID card, or another federally accepted ID for air travel.
• Background check after a conditional offer of employment.
• Pre-employment drug screen; remain drug- and alcohol-free while working.
• OSHA-10 certification at hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to meet the schedule, overtime, travel, physical, and vehicle care requirements.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable using a laptop, smartphone, and mobile work apps.
• Experience in submetering, utilities, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or wireless equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, and replace water, gas, and electric submeters and communications systems at multifamily properties.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot meter performance and data transmission; repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Keep accurate records, upload work orders, photos and notes daily; follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Receive, record, secure, and track inventory; prepare materials for installations.
• Maintain company vehicle in good condition; ensure timely maintenance and compliance with policies.
• Follow schedule, travel as needed (up to 25%), and ensure reliable attendance.
• Work safely in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight spaces; lift 50+ pounds.
