Job summary

Conservice is a leading utility and billing management company actively hiring a Meter Technician in Houston to install, maintain, and repair water, gas, and electric submeters across multifamily properties. This hands-on field role involves travel up to 25%, overtime, and physical work at heights and in tight spaces.

You will document field work, maintain equipment and inventory, and operate a company vehicle. Training is provided; benefits include health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record and no DUI in past 5 years.
• REAL ID-compliant ID or alternative federal ID for travel.
• Background check required after conditional offer.
• Pre-employment drug screen required and ongoing testing may apply.
• OSHA-10 certification at hire or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, configure, calibrate, and replace submeters and communication systems at multifamily properties and select locations.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot performance and data transmission; repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Represent Conservice professionally with owners, managers, contractors, and staff; answer submetering questions.
