Job summary

Conservice is a leading utility and billing management company serving multifamily housing. Meter Technicians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair water, gas, and electric submeters and their communication systems across properties.

This hands-on field role requires reliability, readiness for up to 25% travel, and overtime. You will work with property owners, managers, contractors, and retail staff while upholding safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violation convictions in the past 24 months.
• REAL ID-compliant license or ID for air travel.
• Background check after a conditional offer of employment.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen after a conditional offer of employment.
• OSHA-10 certification at hire, or completion within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to meet the schedule, overtime, travel, and vehicle care requirements.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable using a laptop, smartphone, and mobile work apps.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, configure, calibrate, and replace water, gas, and electric submeters and communication systems at multifamily properties, new construction sites, and select retail locations.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot meter performance, connectivity, and data transmission. Repair or replace faulty equipment.
• Represent Conservice professionally with property owners, managers, contractors, and retail staff.
• Keep accurate records of field work and upload work orders, photos, and notes daily.
• Follow SOPs, safety policies, and department processes.
• Complete weekly cycle counts, keep physical inventory aligned with system records, and report discrepancies, damage, or loss.
• Maintain the company vehicle, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
