Job summary

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, seeks a Field Specialist – RYOBI Experience Team to support riding mower programs by diagnosing and repairing units in the field. You will train and recruit service centers and travel across a large territory to expand the riding mower program.

You will visit customer homes and service centers, provide field insights, and collaborate with engineering and management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to diagnose and repair riding mowers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within a territory with some overnight stays.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Prior presenting or training experience is preferred.
• Empathy and ability to relate to customers.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large territory for riding mower customer support.
• Diagnose and repair riding mowers in the field.
• Recruit and train new service centers for riding mower repair programs.
• Train existing service centers within territory on current and new riding mowers.
• Be a subject matter expert on riding mower programs.
• Visit customer residences to diagnose and repair mowers.
• Visit service centers as needed for repair assistance.
• Maintain open communication with all TTI parties.
• Conduct phone support for customers and service centers when needed.
• Provide performance reports when requested.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management on issues identified.
• Keep an organized and clean company-provided work vehicle and tools.
