Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Solar Technician I to support operation and maintenance at the Chillingham Solar Site in Rogers, TX. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PV inverters, solar panels, and tracking systems, using SCADA, Maximo, and SAP for work orders and reporting.

The role requires being within 50 miles of the site, willingness to on-call for outages, and readiness to work outdoors in extreme conditions. Domestic travel to ENGIE sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical program or trade certification required.
• Familiarity with electrical theory and schematics preferred.
• Experience on solar/wind sites or field maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on photovoltaic equipment under supervision.
• Use SCADA, Maximo, and SAP to manage work orders and document activities.
• Conduct safety orientations and ensure compliance with LOTO and PPE requirements.
