Job summary

CultureFit is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and optimize SMT automation systems across North America. The role requires travel to customer sites (up to 75%) and working remotely when not onsite, with reimbursement for mileage.

You will install, troubleshoot, and retrofit equipment, provide customer training, and document service activities while collaborating with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred.
• Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment strongly preferred.
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and startup SMT automation systems at customer sites across North America.
• Perform system retrofits, upgrades, and custom equipment modifications.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and process issues onsite or remotely.
• Provide operator and maintenance training to customers and document service activities.
• Serve as liaison between customers and Company engineering departments; communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
