Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service and support Packaging and Automation equipment at customer sites. You will coordinate startup, calibrate instruments and train operators to ensure smooth operation.

This remote role requires extensive travel to customer locations, with some trips on short notice. Expect on-site support, preventive maintenance visits and timely service reporting to keep systems running reliably.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent plus 3–5 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment and system installations and ensure proper function.
• Calibrate HMIs, meters, set timers and adjust during service or startup.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel.
• Provide phone and onsite customer support.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Complete service reports and communicate next steps to ensure continued performance.
