Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive in Greensboro, NC, to drive new business sales in a field-based role. You will prospect, analyze customer needs, and present Spectrum’s communication solutions to small businesses, guiding leads from first contact through final sale.

Daily field activity with occasional office time, requiring a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in sales or telecom/tech are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom/technical industry experience
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Effective management of sales and administrative tasks with multitasking ability
• Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid and active state driver’s license with safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses in the assigned territory
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor Spectrum Business solutions
• Achieve sales targets across data, phone, video and mobile services from lead to close
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and customer service
• Attend sales meetings and training to stay current with Spectrum products and strategies
• Enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support
