Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an engineering technician to support field and factory teams in commissioning and maintaining data center cooling equipment. You will interpret blueprints, diagnose issues, and collaborate with design and QA to improve service and equipment reliability.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of large-scale HVAC/refrigeration, experience with PLC-based controls, and excellent communication to coordinate with customers and field staff.

Qualifications

• Authoritative knowledge of large-scale mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities and PLC-based controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, control and mechanical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Interface with customers and manufacturing teams to optimize products.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration or HVAC systems in field settings.
