Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an engineering technician to work on large-scale mechanical and refrigeration systems for mission-critical facilities. You will read blueprints, install components, and support commissioning in field and manufacturing settings.

You will travel to customer sites (domestic/international), communicate with customers and internal teams, and contribute to safety-focused operations. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating principles of various cooling/refrigeration equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and schematics
• Experience with commissioning and start-up at customer facilities
• Strong communication and safety-consciousness

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, control and mechanical blueprints and specs
• Assemble/install refrigeration or AC components using hand and power tools
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/refrigeration systems
• Travel to customer sites and collaborate with field and manufacturing teams
