Position Overview:
  • Term: 1+ year
  • Location: Remote (100% travel)
  • Pay: $30.00 - $37.00; commensurate with experience
  • Hours: Standard business hours

Our Field Services Team adds value by delivering solutions that foster long-term customer relationships. As a first-line responder, you'll communicate openly and helpfully, focusing on finding the right solutions. You'll organize, triage issues, and proactively address potential problems. Our training prepares you to meet customer needs effectively.

What you'll do as the Field Services Technician:

The following responsibilities are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Duties may change without notice.

  • Addition or removal of non-powered equipment hardware.
  • Addition or removal of wiring and connections (on non-working equipment only and switchboard cable only).
  • Lead verification/continuity testing.
  • Analyze job specifications and drawings.
  • Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and write comprehensive Job Change Order (JCO) summaries.
  • Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1 and 2 Installers.
  • Prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP).
  • Write Job Information Memorandums (JIMs).
  • Resolve issues related to job specifications and drawings.
  • Update office record drawings.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and RealID/Passport for travel.
  • At least 25 years old.
  • Basic PC skills, electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including long driving hours.
  • Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. alone, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
  • Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and handling objects of varying sizes.
  • Willing to obtain various certifications.
  • Basic set of hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers, etc.).
