Position Overview:

Term: 1+ year

Location: Remote (100% travel)

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00; commensurate with experience

Hours: Standard business hours

Our Field Services Team creates value by delivering solutions that foster long-term relationships. As a first-line responder, you will communicate openly and helpfully with customers, focusing on finding the right solution. You will organize, triage customer issues, and proactively address potential problems. Our formal training enables you to provide timely and effective support.

What You’ll Do as a Field Services Technician:

• Add or remove non-powered equipment hardware.
• Add or remove wiring and connections (on non-working equipment only and switchboard cable only).
• Lead verification/continuity testing.
• Analyze job specifications and drawings.
• Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and write comprehensive Job Change Order (JCO) summaries.
• Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1 and 2 Installers.
• Prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP).
• Write Job Information Memorandums (JIMs).
• Resolve job specification and/or drawing problems.
• Update office record drawings.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and RealID/Passport for air travel.
• At least 25 years of age.
• Basic PC skills, electronic skills, and familiarity with hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Willingness to travel extensively and perform prolonged driving.
• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.
• Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. alone, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and manual manipulation.
• Willingness to obtain various certifications.
• Basic set of hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers, etc.).
