Enerflex Ltd. in Arcadia, Louisiana, seeks a trainee who will learn basic maintenance of gas compression packages under direct supervision, assisting senior technicians with servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning equipment.

The role focuses on developing proficiency in engine and rotating equipment tuning, start-up/shut-down procedures, data entry, and adherence to safety and company standards as you progress toward Technician I level.

Formación

• No experience required; one year of applicable transferable experience preferred.
• Must master data entry prior to advancement to Technician I.
• Requires ability to pass GE Waukesha GET certification.
• Training will include GE Waukesha and Ariel basic compressor fundamentals or equivalent programs.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, tune-up, calibrate and monitor prime movers and rotating equipment.
• Perform start-up, shut-down, and operating procedures for compressors, motors, generators, pumps, valves and alarms.
• Troubleshoot major and minor repairs of engines, compressors, generators, pumps and controls including governors and relays.
• Learn engine and compressor oil and coolant analysis.
• Work with engine emission control devices and fuel-air ratio controllers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors and vendors.
• Perform rebuilds and overhauls as required.
• Ensure equipment operates to company and customer standards.
• Maintain workspace and tools in good order; accountability for hand tools.
• Complete work orders with signatures and mileage.
