Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Service Technician I to perform basic maintenance on gas compression packages and assist seasoned technicians with servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning in field settings. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and teamwork.

You will travel multi-state with nights and weekends as needed, operate with direct supervision, and progress toward the Senior Field Service Technician level as competency grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and some minimal vocational/technical training preferred.
• Must have 3-5 years applicable experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and post offer physical testing.
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
• Capable of performing monthly preventive maintenance and minor repairs independently.
• Have his/her own tools of the trade (with exceptions of specialty or OEM specific diagnostic equipment).

Responsibilities

• Travel may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Represent the company professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Assist in rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Respond to recurring problems and provide emergency services as needed.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and start-up inspections.
