Job summary

Enerflex is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation on gas compressor packages in field settings. You will learn from senior techs and progress toward senior technician responsibilities, with emphasis on diagnosing and repairing engines, compressors, and control systems.

The role requires willingness to travel and respond to emergencies, with training provided on OEM software and tools.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma with some vocational/technical training.
• 5+ years of applicable field experience preferred.
• Understanding of Caterpillar Gas Engine Rating Pro (GERP) and similar OEM software.

Responsibilities

• Submit field service reports and paperwork daily.
• Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections.
• Perform mechanical inspections with micrometers and diagnostic tools.
• Travel for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance, including nights and weekends.
