Qualifications

• No experience required; one year of applicable and transferable experience preferred.
• Trains and becomes effective in the first level of repair and maintenance for rotating equipment.
• Accepts tasks within timelines while gaining equipment knowledge.
• Completes work using established procedures and safe practices.
• Willing to train in field compression, power generation and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic maintenance functions on gas compression packages under supervision.
• Assist senior technicians with servicing, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot engines, compressors, generators, pumps and controls.
• Perform rebuilds and overhauls as directed and maintain documentation.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and DOT guidelines while traveling as needed.
