Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics to service and install electronic security solutions across customer sites. Responsibilities include responding to trouble tickets, diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and documenting changes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills, with knowledge of access control, CCTV, burglar alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion and fire alarm systems.
• Proficient in documenting changes and communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually or as a team.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.).
• Document system modifications in change control system.
• Create technical documentation for deployments for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Test upgrades and major modifications before deployment.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
