Job summary

Securitas Technology, a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking technically minded individuals to service and support on-site security systems and equipment. You will respond to trouble tickets, diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and document changes while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

A high school diploma is required, with strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and IP networking, plus excellent communication and time-management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
• Strong knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Excellent problem solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure system uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site application issues.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize availability.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.).
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce quality technical documentation describing deployment aspects for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
