Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking technically minded individuals experienced with low voltage electronics for electronic security solutions. You will service Securitas Technology products at customer sites, respond to trouble tickets, and work both independently and in teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

The role includes on-site software upgrades and major modifications, with documentation and pre-deployment testing as part of the workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring, installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Familiarity with commercial access control, CCTV, burglary and fire alarm systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with MS Office.
• Knowledge of IP addressing and network basics. Positive work ethic and time management.
• Certifications in enterprise CCTV and access control are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues both individually and in teams.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Make routine configuration changes and document all modifications.
• Produce technical documentation for deployment for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major changes.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and modifications.
