Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will install, align, and test AC/DC motors and related machinery, reading precision blueprints and using advanced diagnostic tools.

You must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment, a valid driver's license, and a customer-facing mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and communications skills for customer-facing work.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment.
• Install, align, and set tolerances for motors and coupled equipment to OEM specs.
• Perform precision inspections using metrology tools and document results.
• Conduct safety-focused maintenance and gearbox/ bearing replacements as needed.
• Utilize portable diagnostic equipment to test system reliability.
