Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will work hands-on to diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment to run better than before, supporting customers across North America.

You will perform precision alignment and installations, read blueprints and tolerances, and participate in safety-first field operations with a team of experts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with rotating equipment such as AC/DC motors, gearboxes, or pumps.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends; valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation/removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment; perform laser alignments and set gaps per OEM specs.
• Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to diagnose wear and verify tolerances.
• Overhauls: replace bearings, gearboxes, and critical components with specialized tooling.
• Conduct on-site diagnostics using portable testing equipment to ensure reliability.
• Prepare and maintain clean, refurbished electro-mechanical equipment to a professional finish.
• Adhere to safety standards and collaborate with the team to hit project goals.
