Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and install retail store technologies and computer systems across client sites. You will perform repairs, installations, relocations, and upgrades while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Toshiba procedures.

You will travel extensively within the region and beyond, work independently or as part of a team, and adapt to varied shifts to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/technical degree preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time; domestic/air travel may be necessary.
• Operational knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, flat panel TVs & monitors, cash registers/ POS equipment, and related retail devices.
• Good customer service skills; ability to follow directions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory performing repairs/services on products; installs equipment in new/remodeled sites; supports field projects.
• Travel within territory or nationally to installations, relocations, or upgrades of retail POS equipment.
• Communicates status and issues with customers and store management to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery of services.
• Plans, prioritizes, and schedules work; coordinates travel; can work varying shifts including overtime/weekends as needed.
• Maintains documentation of installation activities per Toshiba standards and manages trunk stock.
