Job summary

Zund America, Inc. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, the US HQ of Zünd Systemtechnik AG, seeks a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America.

The role also provides remote telephone and online support; travel up to 80% including overnight; requires professionalism and strong technical aptitude; documentation in Salesforce; customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Technical school education or field service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently under guidance and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Zünd equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely, accurate telephone and remote technical support.
• Prepare and submit service reports, warranty documentation, expense reports, and related tasks.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
