Job summary

Zund America, Inc. in Oak Creek, WI seeks a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Zünd cutting systems at customer sites across North America. You will provide remote support, document service activity in Salesforce, and travel as needed.

The role requires technical aptitude, reliability, and a customer-focused approach. Technical school or equivalent experience is preferred; strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills are expected,

Qualifications

• Technical school education or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills on the job.
• Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of Zünd equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely, accurate telephone and remote technical support.
• Prepare and complete service reports, warranty documentation, and related administrative tasks accurately and promptly.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Follow up on open service issues to ensure full resolution and proper documentation.
• Escalate complex technical issues to internal support resources.
