Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a field service technician to maintain, repair, and upgrade office printers, copiers, and related devices across assigned customer sites in the Rochester area.

You will diagnose equipment issues, perform installations, provide product training, manage service calls, and document activities while adhering to safety policies. A strong hands-on background and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment or related technologies.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing schedule.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document service activities and follow safety policies.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians to improve first‑call efficiency.
