Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. This role involves precision alignments, motor installation/removal, and testing to ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

You will use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other tools to diagnose wear and verify tolerances, while prioritizing safety and delivering an unmatched customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing mechanical failures in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment.
• Perform laser alignments and install/remove AC/DC motors and coupled equipment.
• Utilize precision tools to diagnose wear, verify tolerances, and ensure equipment integrity.
• Conduct safety-focused maintenance and testing to support reliable operation.
