Job summary
Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will install, align, and test motors, gearboxes, and related components while following safety standards and delivering an unmatched customer experience.
Qualified candidates have 2+ years in rotating equipment, strong measurement and read-blueprint skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience with rotating industrial equipment (AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps)
- Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer-facing communication and professionalism
- Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends for on-site field service
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment
- Install/remove AC/DC motors and coupled equipment; perform laser alignments
- Conduct precision inspections with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Perform safety-focused maintenance and testing using portable electronics
- Collaborate with team to meet mutual project goals
