Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will perform laser alignments, read precision instruments, and ensure OEM specifications are met in high-stakes environments.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial motors and gearboxes, strong problem-solving, and excellent customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.
• Valid Driver’s License; willingness to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends.
• Experience with PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment.
• Perform laser alignments and set critical gaps to OEM specifications.
• Conduct precise inspections using micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Execute tests with portable equipment to verify system reliability.
• Maintain safety standards and collaborate with teams on complex jobs.
