Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, maintenance and repair on power distribution equipment at customer sites across the U.S. This on-site role involves problem solving with customers and teams, plus travel as needed to support regional projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical-related disciplines or military training.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modifications.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, sales partners and support teams.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; manage expenses.
• Coordinate with managers to resolve escalated issues.
• Participate in ongoing training on products and tools.
