Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform installation, startup, repair and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites within our U.S. Services scope. You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and coordinate with customers and partners to deliver timely solutions.

The role requires 2+ years in field service, an electrical background, and strong safety practices. Training in our facility and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade/vocational certification in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets.
• Working with your Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues.
