Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on power distribution and critical power infrastructure across customer sites in the United States. The role emphasizes problem solving with customers, third-party partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include pre-site activities, field service reports, and collaboration with District/Regional teams to resolve escalated issues.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in electrical disciplines or training.
• Reading blueprints/schematics is required.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power principles.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS and distribution equipment.
• Ability to read operation manuals and interpret schematics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical teams.
• Complete field service and expense reports, PM data sheets.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing learning and training on products in field and classroom.
• Travel for local or countrywide support as needed.
• Assist senior technicians on larger projects.
