Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites across the United States. You will work with customers, electricians and project teams, documenting service reports and staying current with safety practices.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent electrical training, 2+ years in field service, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade certification in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE when required.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Proficient with MS Office and basic digital tools

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modification on equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales and service teams to resolve issues.
• Complete field service and startup data, expense reports and service reports.
• Travel regionally or nationally for local and countrywide support.
• Assist senior technicians and support project management on larger startups.
