Schneider Electric is seeking Field Service Representatives to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on power distribution and critical power infrastructure equipment in diverse environments. You’ll be trained on products, tools, and digital resources, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

The role requires 3–5+ years of field service experience, strong safety practices, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Understanding of AC/DC power and components
• 3–5+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS and power equipment
• 3–5+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience
• Prior safety training and adherence to safety procedures
• Identify hazards and report safety issues to management
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred
• Safe driving and vehicle operation skills
• Skilled at using test/diagnostic equipment
• Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and operation manuals
• Strong report writing, correspondence, and customer-facing communication
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
• Work outdoors in varied environmental conditions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital tools
• English communication with customers and teams

Responsabilités

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and support teams to solve issues
• Complete field service reports and data sheets
• Coordinate with Manager/Regional Service Director on escalations
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development
• Travel regionally or nationally for local or countrywide support
• Assist senior technicians and support larger system startups
• Collaborate with teams on higher-complexity projects
• Act to resolve operational issues on behalf of the District Service Manager
