Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment at customer sites. The role involves on-site service with occasional travel and overtime, plus extensive training to operate both company and third-party equipment.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree or equivalent electrical training, strong safety practices, and experience with UPS and power distribution systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification or military training in electrical disciplines.
• Read and interpret blueprints/schematics and electrical drawings.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power, switchgear, UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Diagnose issues with customers, electricians, and partners; provide effective solutions.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and data sheets; maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with Managers to resolve complex escalated issues and support project management.
