Job summary

Matrix Packaging Machinery is looking for a Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging equipment across the US with extensive travel. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and train customer personnel on operation and service of our machinery.

Travel‑heavy role requiring strong customer service, communication skills, and willingness to travel internationally from time to time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in machinery repair.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ of the time.
• PLC programming experience preferred.
• Technical Associate degree or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues for customers.
• Supervise customer personnel during installations/ integrations.
• Occasionally customize machine programs on-site to meet customer needs.
