Job summary

Premier Tech Systems and Automation is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and upgrade industrial packaging equipment across customer sites. You will audit, train, and recommend improvements to enhance uptime and performance.

Ideal candidates will have electromechanical expertise, PLC troubleshooting skills, and strong communication abilities. This role involves regular travel and may require nights or weekends based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a field service technician with electromechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical or automation is preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience and familiarity with uploading/downloading programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage uptime by proactively identifying and addressing customer challenges.
• Advise and train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Understand and align customer operations with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Record daily activities, travel, and timesheets accurately.
