Job summary

CT PACK Service Technician - Mechanical will deliver after-sales technical service for packaging machinery across the US and Canada. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep installed equipment fully operational and productive.

Travel about 70% nationwide, assist in installation and commissioning, read mechanical drawings, and document interventions with clear service reports; liaise with HQ in Italy for escalation as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years' post‑sales service experience on packaging machinery.
• Willingness to travel about 70% across US/Canada.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation, commissioning and start-up as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to customer maintenance teams.
• Prepare service reports and document interventions.
• Coordinate with HQ teams for escalation.
