ABB is seeking a field service professional to work remotely within Colorado, performing on-site troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades for ABB Power Protection solutions. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, identifying service opportunities, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Electrical/ Electronics certificate preferred with OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels in the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and eliminate pain points.
• Perform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and conducting certified on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare material lists for service activities and ensure availability of parts and equipment meeting quality standards.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and end-of-life services.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance satisfaction.
• Identify potential new sales opportunities and communicate them internally.
• Identify equipment failures early and recommend corrective actions.
• Suggest product and quality improvements and provide management with recommendations.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe practices or incidents promptly.
