Job summary

ABB is seeking a field service professional to work on-site with customers, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and performing troubleshooting and service tasks across installations and upgrades. You will prepare material lists, ensure quality of parts, and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, maintenance, and identifying new opportunities while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Skilled Trades with OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to interact and communicate information to varying levels within the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products; MS Project or Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform field service tasks including on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment meeting quality standards.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, and end-of-life services.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
