Job summary

Scientific Games in Cincinnati region is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retailer locations. You will perform installs, relocations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, from POS terminals to communication hardware, while delivering a positive customer experience.

You will train customers, record service data, troubleshoot issues, and work with the Data Center to ensure timely visits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Pass a background check and drug test; clean driving record.
• Willing to travel overnight and lift/move equipment.
• Experience with troubleshooting computer software and hardware.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform client-site servicing, repair, installation, and relocation of equipment.
• Complete assigned service calls for lottery retailer locations.
• Provide training and preventative maintenance to customers.
• Maintain vehicle and drive in compliance with policies.
• Record service data and communicate issues to management.
• Build long-lasting customer relationships and ensure first-time resolution.
• Average six to ten detailed activities per day depending on local needs.
