Job summary

Scientific Games, LLC in Ohio, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations, perform installs, repairs, and preventative maintenance on POS and vending equipment, and provide on-site training.

You will complete assigned service calls, communicate with customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and work with data center teams to ensure timely support while maintaining strong customer relationships. Occasional travel and lifting up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Able to travel overnight if needed.
• Familiar with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Exceptional customer satisfaction skills.
• Promptly respond to customer/leadership requests and feedback.
• Proven self-starter with motivation and ability.
• Organization and time management skills for multitasking.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations (installs, removals, preventative maintenance, and service).
• Provide a positive customer experience using strong customer service and technical skills.
• Communicate the value of services and match products to customer needs.
• Perform field repair functions including installs and equipment removal with minimal supervision.
• Track and report service call information and communicate problems to management.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail location and work with Data Center on issues.
• Maintain vehicle and drive safely; travel as needed.
• Assist in training new and existing customers and team members.
