Job summary

Scientific Games, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations, performing installs, relocations, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment. You will train customers and ensure timely, high-quality service across sites.

This role involves traveling to client locations, troubleshooting communications hardware and POS equipment, managing service data, and building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Background checks and a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations (install, removal, maintenance).
• Provide a positive customer experience using service and technical skills.
• Communicate value of services and match products to customer needs.
• Perform field repairs including installs and removing terminals with minimal supervision.
• Vehicle management as required.
• Coordinate with Data Center to ensure timely service.
• Record service data and report problems to management.
• Follow up on issues requiring additional support.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail setting.
• Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record per policy.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer challenges promptly.
• Some troubleshooting by phone.
• Training of new and existing customers.
• Average six to ten detailed activities per day depending on area needs.
• Occasionally assist in training others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
